Specify a list of terms, separated by blanks or a phrase you want to search for. Then specify how you want the matching done:
- If you specify "Any term" the process will use a natural language search of the text fields of all the articles in our database. Matches are ranked according to best match for each article type.
- If you specify "All terms" then all the terms you entered must appear in each article. It doesn't matter in what order the terms appear. Again, matches are ranked according to best match.
- If you enter "Full phrase" then the exact phrase you entered must appear in an article for the article to be listed. In this case, the order of the terms in the phrase matters.
- All searches are case-insensitive - upper and lower case characters all match.
When the Search Results list appears, you can click on links to go to the articles matching your search criteria. Search terms are not highlighted. You might consider using your browser's "Find" function to help locate text on a specific page.
