Ginger Yogurt with Fruit
Enjoy the zing the ginger provides in this festive, delicious, and easy to prepare recipe. It is a great addition to your list of Healthiest Way of Eating desserts.
Ginger Yogurt with Fruit Prep and Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 3/4cup low-fat plain yogurt
  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 1 large papaya
  • 1 cup seedless grapes
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

Directions:

  1. Blend together yogurt, banana, and ginger in blender.
  2. Spoon out meat of papaya and divide papaya and grapes between two bowls.
  3. Mix with blended yogurt and top with sliced almonds.
Serves 2

In order to better help you identify recipes that feature a high concentration of nutrients for the calories they contain, we created a Recipe Rating System. This system allows us to highlight the recipes that are especially rich in particular nutrients. The following chart shows the nutrients for which Ginger Yogurt with Fruit is either an excellent, very good, or good source (below the chart you will find a table that explains these qualifications).
